WHAT IS THE MATRIX SIGNAL DROP?

MATRIX SIGNAL is LAYDOWN’s first drop, introducing five colourways: Carbon, Ruby, Opal, Frost and Acid. It is the first release from The 2000s Capsule — 00.
WHEN CAN I BUY MATRIX SIGNAL?

The public store opens on 16 October 2026 at 6:00 PM, Paris time. Until launch, access to the store is password-protected. After the store opens, you can choose your colourway and place your order on the website.
HOW CAN I SIGN UP BEFORE THE DROP?

Enter your email address on the launch page to sign up for the drop and the launch discount. Signing up does not place an order or reserve a watch.
ARE THERE ONLY FIVE WATCHES AVAILABLE?

No. The drop includes five colourways, with multiple watches available in each. Availability is shown on the product pages when sales open.
DOES “DROP” MEAN A LIMITED EDITION?

“Drop” describes the release of MATRIX SIGNAL at an announced date and time. It does not, by itself, mean a numbered or limited edition. Any specific availability restrictions will be stated on the website.
WILL OTHER SIGNALS BE RELEASED?

Graphic Signal, Round Signal and Curved Signal are planned for later releases. They are not part of the first drop. Follow LAYDOWN on Instagram and TikTok, or subscribe to our emails, for future announcements.

WHERE DOES LAYDOWN DELIVER?

LAYDOWN currently delivers to selected destinations in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and Oceania. Select your country or region on the website, then enter your address at checkout to see the available delivery options.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

Standard tracked shipping is free on all orders. Express shipping is optional and paid, with its local charge shown at checkout before you pay. Both services are available on all orders. Order preparation takes 48 hours (2 business days) before dispatch. See the Shipping Policy for delivery estimates and charges.
HOW LONG WILL DELIVERY TAKE?

Order preparation takes 48 hours (2 business days) before dispatch. The estimates below include preparation and transit, counted from the start of preparation. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed after 12 noon (Paris time), at weekends or on public holidays enter preparation on the next business day.

WILL I RECEIVE TRACKING INFORMATION?

Yes. We will email your tracking number or link when it becomes available. Tracking may take 48 to 72 hours to update after the dispatch notification. The final-mile carrier may appear once the parcel reaches your destination country.
WHAT ABOUT TAXES, CUSTOMS DUTIES AND LATE SHIPMENTS?

The price, taxes collected by LAYDOWN and any delivery charge are displayed before you confirm your order. Customs duties, import taxes or carrier fees may still apply if they were not collected at checkout. If tracking has not updated within 72 hours of dispatch, or the delivery estimate has passed, contact contact@laydownwatches.com with your order number and tracking details.

MATRIX SIGNAL

The display, the details and everyday use.
HOW DOES MATRIX SIGNAL DISPLAY THE TIME?

MATRIX SIGNAL combines analogue hands with an animated numerical display. The hands show the hours and minutes, while the digital display shows animated seconds.
HOW DO I CHANGE THE DISPLAY ANIMATION?

Press the lower pusher to switch between the six animation modes. Each mode gives the numerical display a different visual rhythm.
DOES MATRIX SIGNAL LIGHT UP?

Yes. Press the upper pusher to illuminate the dial for approximately six seconds. The hands are also luminous after exposure to light, separately from the push-button illumination.
DOES MATRIX SIGNAL NEED TO BE CHARGED?

No. MATRIX SIGNAL uses a replaceable battery rather than a rechargeable system. Have the battery replaced by a qualified watchmaker when needed.
CAN I SWIM OR SHOWER WITH MATRIX SIGNAL?

Remove MATRIX SIGNAL before swimming or showering. Its stated water-resistance rating is 3 ATM. Avoid immersion, hot water and steam, and do not operate the controls while the watch is wet.
HOW DO I ADJUST AND CARE FOR MATRIX SIGNAL?

MATRIX SIGNAL has an adjustable link bracelet. A watchmaker or jeweller can remove links to fit your wrist. Keep the watch clean and dry, avoid impacts and follow its 3 ATM water-resistance limits. WARRANTY & RETURNS

WHAT IS LAYDOWN CARE?

MATRIX SIGNAL includes LAYDOWN Care at no extra cost: a two-year commercial warranty from delivery covering manufacturing and material defects under normal use. For a confirmed covered defect, LAYDOWN provides a replacement under the warranty conditions. Normal wear, normal battery depletion and accidental damage are excluded.
CAN I RETURN MATRIX SIGNAL IF I CHANGE MY MIND?

Yes. You have 14 calendar days from delivery to notify LAYDOWN that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. After notifying us, you have a further 14 calendar days to send the watch back. Contact contact@laydownwatches.com for return instructions. Return postage is at your expense for a change of mind.
HOW WILL MY REFUND BE PROCESSED?

Refunds are issued without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your withdrawal. For goods, we may defer the refund until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been sent, whichever occurs first. For a valid withdrawal covering the entire order, the refund includes the product price and the original standard delivery charge. Any express-delivery supplement is excluded. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund in your account. See our Refund Policy for the full conditions.
WHAT IF MY WATCH IS DEFECTIVE OR I RECEIVE THE WRONG COLOURWAY?

Email contact@laydownwatches.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Photos or a short video may help us assess it. If a defect, lack of conformity or delivery error is confirmed, we will provide the appropriate next steps and cover reasonable return costs.
WHAT IF MY PARCEL IS DAMAGED OR MARKED AS DELIVERED BUT HAS NOT ARRIVED?

Contact contact@laydownwatches.com with your order number and tracking details. If the parcel is damaged, include photos of the packaging, shipping label and watch where possible. We will investigate with the carrier or logistics partner and arrange an appropriate replacement or refund if loss or damage is confirmed.
WHAT IF THE SAME COLOURWAY IS UNAVAILABLE FOR A WARRANTY REPLACEMENT?

We will first seek to replace your watch with the same model and colourway. If that reference is unavailable, we may offer a watch with equivalent characteristics, subject to your agreement. Your statutory remedies remain available if a replacement cannot be provided or you do not accept an alternative.
DOES LAYDOWN CARE REPLACE MY LEGAL RIGHTS?

No. LAYDOWN Care is additional to your statutory consumer guarantees. It does not limit the legal guarantee of conformity, the guarantee against hidden defects or other mandatory consumer protections applicable to your purchase.
CAN I TRY ON THE WATCH BEFORE RETURNING IT?

Yes. You may inspect and reasonably try on the watch as you would in a shop. Return it with its box, accessories, documents and bracelet links where possible. Handling beyond what is necessary to inspect and try the watch may result in a proportionate deduction for diminished value.

HOW DO I PLACE, CHANGE OR CANCEL AN ORDER?

Once the drop opens, choose your MATRIX SIGNAL colourway, add it to your bag and complete checkout. An account is optional, and adding a watch to your bag does not reserve it. After a successful order, you will receive a confirmation email. To request a change or cancellation, contact contact@laydownwatches.com as soon as possible; it cannot be guaranteed once processing begins.
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS CAN I USE, AND IS PAYMENT SECURE?

The payment methods available for your country, currency and device are displayed at Shopify checkout and may include payment cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal and local methods. LAYDOWN does not directly store complete payment-card details. Your payment provider or card issuer may request additional verification.
